Thanks, Marian. I enjoyed Price of a Life, despite it being so dystopian, so I will check out Voice of Reason.

Am playing this game and came to scene with waterfall where you are to match items. Even used hints and found matches, but they don't take! I guess I must be crazy! Does anyone have a similar problem? Thanks,

I haven't played the game, Laurette - maybe someone else will be able to help you out.

There's a video walkthrough here. It may still be a work in progress, but hopefully the part of the game you are talking about has already been covered.

Laurette, this seems to be a new phase with HOAS these days. It is as though they are trying to make the game take longer to play by making it more difficult to figure out how to play it! I ran into some very confusing HO scenes in the MOTW game, Under the Surface recently. They made it unnecessarily difficult to even find the objects in the first place, and then included secondary phases of searching that had me scratching my head and cursing to myself.

I had the CE version, with a Game Guide included, and nowhere did it clarify what was supposed to be happening in that scene, nor in some of the other scenes where I could not figure out what I was supposed to be doing, nor was there any help to be found from a hint. I searched on line for a WT or a YouTube video, but could find nothing specific to these instances. Drove me nuts! I finally got it by accidental clicking around (Not my preference mode when it comes to game play. ha ha).

Marian is correct: Try to find a video on line where someone "plays along" and then watch the particular scene in question. Unless someone else on this forum has recently played the game and remembers what happened, that is your best chance.
