Good point, Marian. I think I may have used Galaxy last time for a game which had multiple parts. It's been quite a long time since I've downloaded anything from there!

You can read about it here, and here, and here.

As you can see from that last link, the GOG version appears to have fixed this problem.

Thanks, Uncle Reg. I seem to remember that now that you say it. And of course, now that it's installed, I'm playing it! When I switched to Disc 2, the dialog is no longer garbled.

Well, this thread is making me want to pull my Dracula games out and give them another go! Its been a looonnng time since I played them. I doubt my original discs will work on Win 8, 64 bit. If not, $9.99 for the trilogy is very doable!

Don't forget, if you play Dracula 3 from GOG's trilogy using Nvidia graphics, then you will need to use Iurii's fix for Kheops games discussed in the sticky thread at the top of the Glitches forum.

I assume that doesn't apply for Dracula Resurrection played from the disks? Other than occasional clipping in the dialogue, I'm not having any problems.

well I went to GOG and down loaded Dracula Trilogy ,took some time but the 1st on that poped up was Dracula Resurrection , great -now playing it . no problems. so
far , only the walkthrough . the 1st on that i used was by N.Kuderna march 29,2000 . I left the inn and went to cemetery got the ax and then the ring went back to the inn and talked to Barina , save there . now what do I need to do now ? I want to stick with just one walk through . like the one that is revised: october 2008 . what do U think ? I have a walkthrough has no name on it and no pic's . it said at the start - go into the inn ,after talking to Barina leave the inn and go to the cemetery..and that is what I did and got the ring and leaft the cemetery. that is where I saved it. very easy to follow .. I think i will use this one. for the start.

That's great, deleterman! I would suggest using the walkthrough from N. Kuderna. It's a good one. Have fun!

I assume you saved and then quit the game? When you start it up, you should be able to load your save.
