Have followed the walkthrough up to "The dining car". Talked completely
to Charleena and Hardy Boys

"Stove in kitchen": Clicking on stove door does not give any option to read the work pay receipt
for James Thurston. Called the Engineer but he hung up.

If possible would like a saved game, somewhere after the pay receipt task.

Thank you, Parker 10

I would just like to say that it's good to remember that these games are not strictly linear. So, if clicking on the stove door doesn't bring up the result that you see in a walkthrough, it's because there is something else that you need to have done first (or maybe more than one thing). Getting a saved game is an option, but just remember that you may miss a portion of the game if you do this.

Even though you say you have followed the walkthrough, there is still something now that you are able to do, something that probably has nothing to do with the stove, and that would get you moving again in the game. I don't think any dead ends have ever been reported with this game.

Good luck. smile
