Thanks, Marian. I have enjoyed the breath of fresh air represented by these Cadena games. No aliens, no purple smoke, no green slime, just people and their problems. They aren't particularly challenging, but there is always a little twist in the puzzles that keeps me interested. I will check it out later today!

Hi, Marian!

I just picked this one up with a coupon. I also enjoy the series and would have purchased the CE, but some of the reviews on BF indicated that both the main game and bonus game took about 3 hours to play which, for me, is much too short.

I read that too, Susan, including the review here. They thought it was "a little short in length," but they liked the game very much. wave

Hi, Marian!

Thanks very much for the link. I've bookmarked the site because it's always helpful to have an extra POV.

I really enjoy the Cadenza series (the first one still remains my favorite) but, when I read the reviews and some people commented that it took them around 3 hours to complete the entire game, I decided to wait for the SE and use a coupon. I just finished playing the new Darkness and Flame (I picked it up with the code where you count the number of pumpkins) and it took me 7 hours. That's longer than most, but I don't feel CEs that last less than 5 hours are worth the CE price.

Susan
