What do you do with a scattering urn after the ashes have been scattered? It's made of heavy cardboard. I googled my question and got answers from bury it, recycle it, throw it in the trash, burn it. Is there a protocol or is it do as you wish with it? Anyone have an idea about what to do?

It's a personal preference lspace. Burial is the most formal, but beyond that, it's really how much it means to you. Certain religions have certain rules, and even then, it's still an individual choice based on how religious you are. I personally would bury or burn it it the ashes touched it, if they were in a plastic bag inside I would recycle.

Ispace, I agree with BET. Definitely a personal choice.

Ispace you should do what you feel is the right thing. That will give you closer.
