I'm having a hard time keeping up with and accepting the changes being made to remakes of female detectives that have been around for many years. Most recently learned that...
Yet another version (3rd or 4th?) of Charlie's Angels. Charlie is now a woman. Hmmmm. crazy
But I'm more upset about what is being done with Nancy Drew. From books to games, and now as a TV series. She is featured as a modern teen; 'living with' Ned. Maybe I'm old fashioned but that just seems wrong to me. thumbsdown

Probably won't watch either one of them. blech

Life's a puzzle; one piece at a time.

I agree butterflybabe. The original Nancy Drew books took place in the 1930s and nancy had a "roadster". No cell phones! I still have one of the old books written back then!

I think she had a cell phone before I did!

Some changes for the better but not these. According to wiki the early Hardy Boys books were bigoted and violent. Not the Hardy Boys I read.

Smart Phones can be hacked, but not flip phones at least according to modern crime and spy dramas.
