My toddler grand-daughter was sitting in my computer chair and somehow while playing with the keys somehow deleted my bookmarks. I only just discovered this now while wanting to go to a bookmarked site.
How can I get my bookmarks back. I am looking on the internet but can't find a simple solution. I know this happened in the past at least once and I was able to recover them. However I have forgotten what I did.
Thank you for any help. Got them back.....thanks...

First need to know what browser you are using. Firefox? Edge? Chrome?

Linda's subject heading says it's Firefox.

Ah, I see. First time I saw it late last night, it just said Bookmarks Missing.

The person in this thread solved it by clicking on Show All Bookmarks.

There are several suggestions in these links. I hope one of them will work for you!

EDIT: I see you edited your post to say you got them back! Woo hoo! So, how did you do it?

Actually I'm not sure exactly what I did. Just keep playing around....yikes!@! I have a question about playing games on a PC or X-BOX....what is the difference in playing between the two systems. I have never tried playing on an X-BOX but a family member says it's a better way to play. Is there a reason to change from a PC to a X-BOX ? I need to replace my computer soon as I was going to upgrade to windows 10 and I need better
graphics. sound cards etc. as my present computer can't play most of the new games.....thanks.

They are completely different systems. Even if a game is made both for PC and for XBox, you can't play the PC version on the XBox and you can't play the XBox version on the PC. Most games made for consoles like XBox are action-oriented and optimized for game controller.

It depends on what types of games you like to play.
You have a lot more selection with a PC.
It's easier to attach an XBox to your giant TV than it is to attach a computer to the TV.

I don't think a console like an XBox is a good replacement for a computer.
I think it's something you might have in addition to a computer -- provided you like the types of games being made for XBox.

Before buying an XBox (or any console), check out what games are available for it.
If you're mainly interested in adventure games, a PC is by far the best because it has the best selection of games, both new and old.

Here are some games for XBox One

Thank you for the great explanation. I definitely will stick with a computer for gaming.
