Unless it's a 1280x1024 monitor like
***this one*** it's almost certainly a widescreen monitor.
I'm assuming you didn't pay on the order of $1000 or more for a 1600x1200 monitor
like
***one of these***.
Except for 1280x1024 and lower resolutions (like 1024x768) non-widescreen monitors
go for a premium price.
If you don't know what resolution your computer is using, check one of these sites and see what it's set at
https://www.howtogeek.com/435794/how-to-change-the-screen-resolution-in-windows-10/https://www.thewindowsclub.com/change-screen-resolution-windows-10-2https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4910-change-screen-resolution-display-windows-10-a.htmlDivide the smaller number into the larger one and if it's greater than 1.33 you have widescreen.
Usually people have 1.778 (16:9) but sometimes have 1.6 (16:10) and some super widescreen are even wider than that. For example, 1920 / 1200 = 1.6 and
1920 / 1080 = 1.778
while for the most common non-widescreen resolution you'd have 1280 / 1024 = 1.25 and 1.25 is less than 1.33
