I just replaced my windows 7 with windows 10 and upgraded to a better gaming computer. So anxious to play this one. I just have a quick question regarding the stats. It says you need a wide screen monitor. I'm not sure what they mean by that. I have a fairly new monitor but I really don't know if it is considered a wide screen. What does that mean? Thanks for any help.

Unless it's a 1280x1024 monitor like ***this one*** it's almost certainly a widescreen monitor.

I'm assuming you didn't pay on the order of $1000 or more for a 1600x1200 monitor
like ***one of these***.

Except for 1280x1024 and lower resolutions (like 1024x768) non-widescreen monitors
go for a premium price.

If you don't know what resolution your computer is using, check one of these sites and see what it's set at

Divide the smaller number into the larger one and if it's greater than 1.33 you have widescreen.
Usually people have 1.778 (16:9) but sometimes have 1.6 (16:10) and some super widescreen are even wider than that. For example, 1920 / 1200 = 1.6 and
1920 / 1080 = 1.778
while for the most common non-widescreen resolution you'd have 1280 / 1024 = 1.25 and 1.25 is less than 1.33

What size is your monitor? And check what the screen resolution is. Right click anywhere on the desktop and select Display Settings. Let us know what the screen resolution is.
