I don't know if this is a problem with my computer or if this is how things are. Can somebody please check for me and advise?

In my computer, everything seems to be set up for English.

I didn't check the Steam page (not sure where "suggested curators" is), but I am seeing the same thing under pennmom36's review.

I don't think it's a different language. I think it's some strange font.
It looks like this:

I don't know if pennmom36 used a strange font or whether something is off on Big Fish's webpage, but it's not your computer.

That's what I am seeing on Big Fish too, Jenny - a strange font, but still readable.

Just because I was curious... I went through all my fonts and couldn't find anything remotely like it.

I see the Curators on the left at Steam, but have no idea what that means. Appears to be that you follow one of them?

I've seen this on Steam before and didn't think anything of it but when I saw it on the Big Fish review I first thought it was something Pennmom did on purpose, maybe something having to do with the game, (it only shows up in the titles/headers) but I also get this sometimes in some emails and it did seem like there was more on Steam than usual today so I thought I'd ask now rather than wait until I turn my computer on and can't read anything.

I don't know if everybody's Steam store page has the same type of content or not but on mine, down in the middle of the page there are suggested curators that I can choose to follow if I wish.

Yes, I found the curators I could follow if I wanted to. Not sure what they do though!

But do you see names of some games with a description of some sort under them? And, if so, are they all in English?

When I go to https://store.steampowered.com/
there are no weird fonts anywhere on that webpage.

There is a "Your Store" dropdown on the upper left, under the Steam logo.

I can choose "Steam Curators" from the dropdown, and it takes me to
https://store.steampowered.com/curators/

There are four "curators" on that page -- Cynical Brit Gaming, PC Gamer, Just Good PC Games, and /r/pcmasterrace Group

Each one has four games underneath along with a description.
None of the descriptions has weird fonts and all are in plain English.

I do not have a Steam account and don't want one, so if you are seeing the weird fonts on a page you see when logged in, I can't help you.

Draclvr - I am not using any of the curators. They are just "suggested". I am copying and pasting what is written under the game Tangle Tower. I hope it is allowed for me to do this.

Google translator says that's Russian and it means

When you reload the page, do you see that same description in Russian?

Yes Jenny. On my Steam page there are 5 curators shown each with 4 games show. (There is one curator and a side scroll bar to get the others.) Out of the 5 curators, 3 of them are shown in this other language, all 4 games. I know I've noticed a couple games before but it seems like there are more today or maybe I just noticed more today after seeing that review on Big Fish. I'm going to take a look in Steam settings to see if there is something there.

When I click to see more curators, I see Tangle Tower under a different curator and it is in English. It does not say the same thing. I'm guessing it goes by the curator.

Well, I wouldn't worry about the weird font at Big Fish since we're all seeing it -- and it is in English.

For Steam, if you're seeing the Russian language when you're logged out, I wouldn't worry about that either.

But if you're seeing the Russian language when you're logged in, I'd wonder if a Russian person got into your account and was looking at games in Russian. Of course it could just be a Steam glitch, but Steam should know you are an English speaker when you're logged in. You might want to change your password and see if it keeps happening.

Ah, I mis-understood something you wrote before about reloading the page. I didn't sign out and back in.

Maybe it has to do with me playing a Russian game recently.

As I scrolled down the Curators and their game comments, I did fine a couple in Russian. But I didn't go any further.
