I tried to download a game from my Steam account and was told I didn't enough disc space. I just upgraded to a new computer/windows10 with lots of upgrades from my last computer so I don't understand why I need to make more disc space. I never had this happen before on my windows 7 computer with a lot less gaming specs. My new computer was set up to play detailed games. It will allow me to download some games but not others. If I need more disc space on Steam how do I do that? Thank you.

I don't know your computer configuration, but some new computers come with Windows installed on a very small SSD (for speed) combined with a much larger spinning hard drive for storage.

So check your file manager (Windows Explorer) for what your disks are. If your operating system is on a small SSD and you have plenty of space on a 2nd drive, you may have to change the location of your Steam folder to be on the larger hard drive.

Here's a Steam page telling how to move your Steam folder

Changing your Steam folder location is not a big deal and many people do it when they have a small C: drive. If you're not able to do it I'm sure your grandson will be able to help.
