i keep getting error code 1404 in my manager in both, am i doing something wronge.

I found this link to a Big Fish forum post from 2015 where the person says a 1404 error means the Big Fish Game Manager is unable to retrieve the security certificate for the game from the Big Fish server.

That might mean the Big Fish server is having a problem and not you.

I wouldn't do any of those suggestions unless I was sure the problem was on my end and not theirs.

The 1404 error message is something that can happen to people with a large Purchase History.

The help section of Big Fish explains what to do about it here. What this means is that from now on, with any game in your Purchase History, you will have to download the demo of the game first and then re-download the entire game.

There are a few people on GameBoomers who have had to deal with this message including Sparkle.

If one of the games showing the 1404 error is listed at all, click the trashcan icon to get rid of it. i can not find that game.

I would think that you can skip that step, then.

and i having to resign in over and over, ever time i exit the manager.

Glad you got it fixed. I am not liking the changes Big Fish is making - at all!

I will reserve judgment on the new game app until I see it in action.

I was using Big Fish Game Manager only a few hours ago and what I saw wasn't any different to normal

But I do only use Big Fish on my computer.

Is this "new app" for a different device ??
