Good morning Boomers.  Cold morning here. I got up to 25 degree temps.  We are warming up now though. 58 degrees today, and then 60s and 70s on out.  I have to go have a cyst removed at the hospital in the morning. It came up on my back 6 or 8 months ago, and the VA referred me to a surgeon here in Durant. He says it's about a 10 minute procedure, so it's not even as bad as a colonoscopy.  I still may be a little out of it afterward. I have a friend driving me home. Manxman I feel for you. Seven inches is a whole lot of snow.  I was thinking about replacing the cabinets in my kitchen, and installing a dishwasher. I don't really want a dishwasher, I was just thinking that if I were to sell this house it would be a lot more attractive if it had a dishwasher.  Then again they could install it themselves, and I don't expect to sell this place anytime soon.  Have a fantastic remainder of the week everyone. I smell the weekend around the bend.  joe

Hello Boomers, hope you are well and having a tremendous Thursday! We had heavy snow last night but it was all gone this morning thank goodness, and we had a nice day afterwards. Joe, good luck having the cyst removed tomorrow! Hey Joe, nothing's as bad as a colonoscopy  I've got the best dishwasher in the world, my hubby!  Had another iron infusion today so hopefully my blood numbers will behave for a while. Got word from hospital yesterday that my kidney function is dropping so they'll be keeping an eye on that and I have to go in for another gastroscopy next month but hey ho! I would wish that all of these tests weren't necessary but my doctors have been great in looking after me. Enjoy the rest of Thursday guys! Much love, Mary

Good morning everyone.  Thanks for the well wishes, my procedure went smooth and easy. I am a little sore between my shoulder blades this morning, but it's nothing I can't handle. It's mostly sunny here today and we are headed up to about 72 degrees. I don't have any plans. I'll probably take it easy all day, except for walking with Missy.
