Just about everything you list, Ana, works for me. Recently added in some stretching exercises that get me sweating a bit. Also checking in with a friend or two. Morning is for stuff around the house; afternoon for computer and playtime.

Life's a puzzle; one piece at a time.

For me, this isn't a life changer at all. I rarely leave my house. I am mostly in front of my computer while I procrastinate about reading a book or watching a DVD or VHS tape.

It was time for a spring housecleaning, so I'm doing one project a day. We have a large property and gardening season has begun. We've been out turning the compost into the soil, cleaning up our greenhouse and planting lettuces and spinach.

Of course, there is always gaming, and we're also catching up on our favourite shows. Right now we're streaming season 3 of Better Call Saul. Next on the list is The Expanse.

When the weather permits we can get out in the boat, too. The gas dock has instituted good sanitary rules so we're confident we can gas up and pay without any more risk than I encounter in the grocery stores. The pod of Transient Orca we've been seeing is still around. They were up in Bute Inlet earlier this week.

Lots to do!

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hagatha that's awesome that you can watch Orcas swimming around. shocked

Well I've had no trouble with social distancing at all since I retired. I've been doing that for 4 years now, and lately I've been increasing the practice electronically, avoiding on line contact as well.............sadly. rolleyes

I'm deep in research and training for 'total recluse' status. cool

I'm channeling Howard Hughes. snicker

I enjoy my own company, and I guess it's a good thing that Missy and Pepper seem to enjoy my company too. yes

We haven't had the best of weather for doing much outside, so my go-to pass-times are exercising, gaming, and TV, with a little house cleaning, showering, and eating thrown in when I absolutely have to. thumbsup

I'm full-time work from home now. Any travel I had previously scheduled is cancelled (can't say I'm too sad about that part). When not in meetings, writing tech papers or testing, we're taking care of our new puppy. She's been a hand full and a half ever since she's started to realize that we're her forever home. She's also not as house broken as we first thought, but that's to be expected from a pup, even one as big as her. She's still a bundle of love; a frantic, pooping, chewing bundle, but cute none the less lol

Good Morning Ana. Our sunny weather has been perfect for walking so we've been walking a couple times a day. We live in a small community in the country so it's easy to stay away from others. Both hubby and I have been reading books, doing 1000 piece puzzles together, and even playing "virtual" scrabble online with our daughter who lives in New Mexico. Lots of projects around the house keep us busy too and of course lots of old games to play one more time!

I've also made a schedule of things to do every day to help pass the time.

I hope everyone here at GB stays safe and well during this crisis.

Just finished having my kitchen cabinets painted and a new tile backsplash put in. Now, it's time for me to go to work stripping wallpaper border and scrubbing the walls and even the ceiling! I have a 100+ year old farmhouse and I restored the tongue and groove bead board wooden ceilings when I first bought the place 28 years ago.

If it would stop raining for a couple of days and not SNOW on us like it did yesterday, we would like to be working up our two huge gardens to put in early crops like onions, lettuce etc. I did get about 300 tomato plant seeds started last week. Already have about 75 pepper plants up and growing.

No bowling, no end-of-the-year school field trips at Longmeadow... it all feels kind of strange, but not entirely unwelcome! Caring for 100+ horses and hundreds of other rescued farm animals at Longmeadow doesn't stop and I help when I can. When the caretaker got sick last week, I was doing the night time closing every night for about a week. Only had 5 skinny horses to feed, so it was pretty easy. They are taking no chances with anyone being ill, so the Ranch Manager just sent him home. They have a skeleton crew and can't afford mass sickness.

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

I'm leveling some alts on WoW, reading, and playing who-dunnits with my sister (long distance). Also taking Lil Soot in and out and in and out since he is not allowed in the backyard.

Started feeling a bit dicey last night, so today has involved lots of hot tea.

Stay well ya'll wavegirl

Except for a run on the grocery store, life is pretty much the same here. I’ve been reading Smart News a lot on my smart phone. They’ve had a lot of videos on this very subject lately, and some are very clever and hilarious. One guy was playing tic-tac-toe with his cat. A couple of guys were leaning out the windows of their high rise apartments and batting a tennis ball back and two. Tons of stuff, worth a look. Also catching up on episodes of Babylon 5, one of my favorite TV shows.

Nice, one of my favorites as well. The last season was a little sketchy, but the rest were top-notch thumbsup I really need to revisit that one.

Amazon Prime has a lot of free movies and TV series. I've watched several non horror Borris Karloff and Bela Lugosi movies. One was dark comedy in which Bela Lugosi is a butler who cannot get anyone to drink the coffee.
Its implied he may have poisoned it but at the end he and the housekeeper drink it and say it's delicious. They obviously wanted the audience to think the butler did it but actually he didn't do anything but his job.

I also finished "Luther" British crime drama. No one has either confirmed nor denied a 6th season/series. Though the fifth's ending could be taken as the end, Luther is in the same spot he was in at the start of the first episode of the first season/series.

So, in reading the NY Times, I came across an easy and amazingly decadent recipe. They had it under an article on what to cook while under quarantine. It's a crazy good take on the classic Rice Krispy bar recipe and is awesome - enjoy thumbsup:

Ingredients

• 6 Tablespoons salted butter (3/4 stick)
• 1 (10-ounce) bag marshmallows
• 3 cups Rice Krispies, or other crisp rice cereal
• 3 cups butter-flavored or regular mini-pretzels, broken into 1/2- to 1-inch pieces
• 3 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
• Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

PREPARATION
1. Line the bottom and sides of a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang on all sides, then coat with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir with a sturdy silicone spatula until smooth and melted, about 3 minutes.

3. Remove from the heat, add the cereal and pretzels, and stir until evenly coated. Immediately scrape the mixture into the prepared pan. Using the spatula, press the mixture to evenly cover the bottom of the pan. Working quickly (you want the cereal mixture to still be quite warm so the chocolate will melt a bit and adhere to the the surface), sprinkle the chopped chocolate on top. Press the mixture with the chocolate into a flat, even layer in the pan. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

4. Cool to room temperature in the pan on a rack. Lift out of the pan using the foil and cut into squares. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container.

That does sound pretty amazing! But without the chocolate chips for me... but really, nope. Not gonna make it! because I'd eat it all! I don't like sweets in general, but Rice Krispy treats are my weakness.

I did make some pretty good sugar free low carb chocolate cookies for hubby who is pre-diabetic the other day!
