I'm starting to see "Bear Hunts" in the small towns around here. Then I saw a friend post one for his city in Louisiana. It is meant to provide something for parents and kids to do and get out of the house without interacting with anyone. People are putting stuffed bears in their windows and you drive around with your kids to see how many they can spot. My friend posted a picture on Facebook of her bear with her cat sitting next to it. She said, "Cheddar sightings will be variable!"

Obviously not possible in states where they is a total lock-down and you need a permit that says you have a legitimate need to be driving around.

Today my husband went fishing at the lake on our private property about 15 minutes from here. He met a couple of his buddies and they all practiced extreme social distancing around the lake. And caught quite a few good fish!

Me, I was back up on my ladder stripping wallpaper. Got done! Woot! I'm getting way too old and fat to do this for very long!

Once again, weeds are my life!

Looks yummy. I love the NYT Food section. Always good stuff in there.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
