Thank you for the interest in the game, I'll try to explain everything and more below...
If you count in this first prologue chapter that will be free to play there will be total of 5 chapters.
Story itself will go from Joe's police days then to Joe's private detective days but can also go back/forth because it may be relevant to the game.
Each chapter will have main story that will go on, but every chapter will also have full crime/mystery that will be playable from beginning to the end.
It's one of the things why we went from "prologue" to "semi-real chapter 1" for "Murder in a flat".
I personally hate cliffhangers and "to be continued..." season finales where you wait for another year and they cancel series you were so hooked on...
So to answer your question: NO, you will never see this as long as I'm in charge of things - also I can promise you that as long as I'm around there will be end chapter of "Joe Kowalski Chronicles"
One thing I'd like to point out is that "Murder in a flat" will be out for free as it's "Iron Noir Soft" debut game and also I don't want people saying - "Rooarrgh! (@Tuna&Knez) I bought that crp game I wish I can have my money back"
So, you see first chapter for free know what you can expect and next one should only be better and longer. Chapters will be released every year one chapter (with some delays possible).
I would love at some point to do short story release every month or even 2 weeks like some series but that would require big team and cost a lot of money - so let's hope we earn something on future chapters that we are able to do it - would be a great thing for game industry in general to see this happen - "A Brave new world" where cliffhangers would actually make sense.
