To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

Spot on, Marian and Cheryl! Remember seeing ER at the local cinema and thinkng "how cool is that" as they rode through Monument Valley with "The Weight" blasting out... That makes it all worth while, Marie! Hints and/or longer clips tomorrow.

10 was the Benny Hill Show theme, but I am not sure that I ever knew what it was called: presumably something close to Yakkety Yak which was the song by the Coasters. Noted your memories of Easy Rider, and remembered seeing it in an arty little cinema in the Latin Quarter in Paris as a student - great soundtrack!

It was "Yakkety Sax" by Boots Randolph (IIRC Stitchman was a big Benny Hill fan - had all the videos...)

5. Its Diamonds and Rust by Joan Baez (not to be confused with the Judas Priest version!!) A beautiful piece of writing
Quantity has a quality all of its own
