Well, my story isn't finished either. First, to answer oldbroad; yes it's a replay. I know that because I remember the big W.
Next, when I tried to install it, it went through disk 1, and asked for disk 2. At that point, it didn't recognize that I had indeed inserted disk 2, and kept asking for it. I think this problem is connected to the cd/dvd disk player, because I have had problems with it before. The worst was when I was installing Obsidian, and it ate disk 1 rendering it unusable. One of my favorite games that I can never replay.
Now that I read that Ransom is suddenly unavailable, I am loath to try again on this CD-ROM drive, but more anxious to play it (curious what the flap is about)
Then, I thought it prudent to uninstall (unmount/delete/eject/whatever) the iso of Midnight in Salem. It refuses to go away, only giving me an error message that it cant. If anybody has the answer, please lemme know. I think I'll ask about this in Glitches.
dah dee dum dum dah dee daaah - humming Jeopardy theme while I try something else . . .
I have a laptop that I only use when away. I didn't want to play a game on that teensy screen, so I connected it via hdmi to my monitor, which is actually a 40-inch Samsung TV. Makes a Great monitor. That allows me to install the game on the laptop and play it on the bigger screen. That worked! It took over 1/2 hour to install for whatever reason; but the game plays.
