In took Missy for a walk twice, and that's about it. We're supposed to be back down to 81 degrees Monday. It was a dark day of football watching in an already dismal season. The Cowboys won their second game but lost Dak Prescot to a broken ankle. Also the Chiefs Lost..............but the Texans won. I'm watching Minnesota and Seattle play now. I wish everyone a fantastic week ahead. joe

Good morning Connie, Soot, and everyone. It's a Beautiful Morning here is SE OK. I don't have many plans for the day. Walk Missy, or she'll walk me. House cleaning, Pepper's cage cleaning, exercising, and that's it. Connie I'll have what he's having, (Soot), some biscuits and sausage gravy please. Enjoy your Netflix with your friend. Soot I hope you breeze through your chores today. Don't work too hard. Have a super day everyone. joe

Happy Monday everyone! One boarder went home last night and the other is still here for the week. It was a rainy, gloomy day until late afternoon and then the sun decided to come out. The pups were excited to head out for the runs. Joe, I sent you a fence photo via FB messenger. It's nice having it complete finally! Send heat my way! It's 48 right now. soot, glad you had a productive day! family, enjoy! connie, hope you had a great day! L4L, hope your doc visit went well!

Hello Boomers, just stopping by to say 'Hi' and hope you are all well and staying safe. Sorry I haven't been very chatty in my previous posts. My dear hubby has been quite ill for some time now and he's waiting to have blood tests and Xrays done. He's in so much pain and has lost a lot of weight. Please keep him in your prayers. Wishing you all a great day! Much love, Mary

Spent 4 hrs at vet speciality center with my dog on Saturday, expecting to have an MRI done. Not so fast. They did some pre-tests there, and his regular vet will do a follow-up on the heart worm he had a few years ago. After that, back to vet center for MRI. Couldn't get either done for until end of Oct and beg of Nov. Initial diagnosis is horner's syndrome which generally signifies something else, possibly neurologic going on. . For now, he's still a happy dog, eating and playing with no sign of anything wrong. Right now listening to people washing outside of my home, which it sorely needed! Hopefully, all work association hired to get done will happen before nasty weather hits. Then just need to get other non-association related work done so I can start using and enjoying my front porch, next spring! Yahoo my home starting to shape up! Can't wait to be able to sit outside and chat friends! Temps are a little cooler but definitely enjoy seeing the sunshine! I actually got an October sunburn on my forehead from sitting in the parking lot at the vet center Ready to play some games. Have a good one!
Life's a puzzle; one piece at a time.

Good morning Connie. Good morning everyone. Connie I'll have the biscuits and gravy please, and thank you. Gerry I'd like some of your fantastic coffee, please. It's a dark morning here. We broke into the 90s yesterday, but today is supposed to stay in the 70s, so it's cloudy and very breezy outside. It feels great! I don't have many plans for the day. I'll play it by ear. I went into Walgreens a few days ago to get a flu shot. I told them I was a veteran, and she told me that the govt. didn't contract them to do flu shots this year for vets. I said no problem just charge medicare. She said they can't charge medicare for vets, because medicare would make them charge the VA which they couldn't do. WHAT?? I was very frustrated after that. I searched on line for a location and discovered that the emergency clinic here in Calera (I think), does the flu shots for vets. I never got a flu shot last year because the VA clinic down in Texas was not giving them when I was there, and I never went looking for another location, but I figure it may be more important to do so this year. Connie I'm sorry Robert lost his job. He's not alone. Many people are losing jobs. I pray he finds another very soon. Mary still sending thoughts and prayers for you and your hubby. L4L is it cooling down for your runs yet? I sure hope it is. Soot we're getting close to the weekend. May your days be a breeze for the remainder of the week. Ana I hope it's warmer for you, and your day is a lite one. Family I wish you a great day. Have a fantastic day everyone. joe

Hello Boomers, just stopping by to say 'Hi' and hope you are all well and staying safe. Thank you for the well wishes for hubby. He's now had blood work done and is booked to have X-rays done on November 3rd. I'm waiting on a food delivery. I really miss going out for shopping but I can't risk it. I know many others are in the same boat. Take care guys! Much love, Mary
