That is kind of a weird leveling system, although it does sort of remind me of a variation FPS/RPG hybrid character development I've seen. In a way it's a little like the one they used in Mass Effect, which I wasn't particularly fond of either. I'd like to see break down on how their character versus skill leveling algorithms are set up. Might make it easier to figure out what they had in mind.
It's interesting, the longer the game is out, I'm seeing less articles about game glitches. What I am now starting to see are complaints about how shallow the story and characters are. The lack of any depthy interaction other than cut-scenes. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is if the story can take multiple paths based on the choices you make. If not, then this is sounding more like a hybrid FPS, favoring the FPS side rather than character interaction and development you see in RPG's. I'll have to keep my eyes open for more input on that aspect of it. That would be a game breaker for me, if the story is light and doesn't have meaningful interactions and choices, I'd loose interest pretty quickly.
