Thanks, Marian. Anyone have any thoughts on this game? Worth it or pass?

I would say pass, I am giving up on them. They just are not like they used to be.. I found the puzzles way to easy

Thanks, Winfrey! I really miss the days when I looked forward to and cleared my calendar for the release.

I thought it was a nice game, but it is a Grandma Studios game and is missing the feel of the classic MCF games, although they tried. As a standalone game it is a pretty good offering, but the newer MCF games suffer when compared to the earlier ones.

I agree with Marian (we both played the Collectors Edition I believe) in that it's a decent enough game, and is full of reminders of the earlier MCF games; but they are a tough act to follow. If your expectations are too high, then you might be disappointed. As Brown-eyed said; I would look forward to the day of release, and snap it up eagerly. Less so now.

I have pretty non existent game time so the few hours I can every couple months is very selective. If it doesn't feel like a hayday MCF game with all the things that made them great, I won't bother. I appreciate the feedback. thanks

I was underwhelmed as well. I have played something like 20 MCF games and only three were outright disappointments. Now, there is a fourth. Short, too easy and no depth of story. Just a gimmick, coasting on previous story lines.

Four of their older games got my very highest rating and I've replayed them more than once. Three other games are in my second tier and four more just below that. They were always consistent in terms of challenge, length and artwork. I looked forward to them. Now, I don't buy one without playing the Trial first, just in case.
