A game which is hard to categorise, hence this thread, but one which can be played casually so I have also mentioned it there.

For me this is most fulfilling game in several years, fully deserving all the awards it has gathered so far, and the creator is nothing short of a genius! devilchili

You may like to look at his website and blog https://www.hempuli.com/

After over six months I have completed 213 levels and there must be at least another 10 (some levels are hidden until earlier ones are completed, and even then it can be part of one level to find another...) - several took more than 24 hrs head-scratching and a couple of times I left it for a week or so: I must admit to using a walkthrough on a handful of occasions (although that rather defeats the point), but more often I would wake up with an idea which worked or at least generated another idea - great fun and very satisfying!

I found one particular walkthrough which provides a useful overview of the game and a series of hints rather than giving the whole show away https://www.keyofw.com/baba-is-hint/overworld.

Thanks Lex, looks interesting. I would say it's more of a puzzle arcade game, rather than something normally associated with the Dark Side style gaming (i.e. RPG, FPS, RTS, MMORPG and so on), so it's good you posted in Casual as well. That said, it's always nice to hear about an engaging game that can be played to take a break from shooting bad guys or slaying dragons.

TM grin

I feel a lot more like I do now, then when I first got here

It can end up being more a matter of getting back to slaying dragons for a break from cudgelling your brains about how to win a level on Baba!

Pandora got this one for Christmas and has just started it: sounds like she is already a convert. smile

It sounds like you need a brain for this game, which disqualifies me these days. lol

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Nothing wrong with your brain if you are enjoying Bioshock Infinite Agatha!

Besides, this is part of my "brain training," mixed in with crosswords, sudoku, futoshiki and whatever is going on in the Garden. catrub
