So I paid the $40 and downloaded the game. I will admit the $40 price tag gave me pause. It's a lovely game. The graphics are crystal clear and immersive. The scarab cursor, while attractive, is difficult at times to center correctly. I've only completed the first chapter. I found it to be very complicated although in hindsight it made sense. Some of the puzzles were difficult for me to figure out the mechanics (not the solution, but--for instance--how to turn the pages in a Bible, or how to light a candle.) I will persevere, if only for a cool story line and those amazing graphics.

I think that sale ends today doesn't it? I've been eying it for the last 10 days or so but did not buy it yet.

Does anybody know if they have solved the problem with Windows 7?

I'm sorry Mad! I sure don't want to turn you off from the game. Obviously I didn't read every word of that 150 pages. I started out reading it and then looked at how many pages there is and started skimming, but that was still way too many pages. I'm sure the third clue was there but I missed it. I didn't play it last night but after I play some more, I'll post again.
