In view of the tremendous surge of indifference that greeted the last one of these, here's another.. Twenty-six questions, each answer starting with a different letter of the alphabet. Some of the clues are precise, some deliberately vague, some quirky or cryptic . The clues are not in any sort of order. Unless stated otherwise, when the answer is a name, the surname is what is required. When a title or phrase is needed, it’s the first word of the title or phrase that counts (excluding definite and indefinite articles, both English and foreign!). Feel free to Google after the first 24 hours. Grab a couple if the mood takes you... Unclaimed letters : -1. Carrolian teapot sleeper -2. 15-sided figure - not pentadecagon -3. Site of partial nuclear reactor meltdown not Chernobyl or Ukraine -4 Setting for Holmesian scandal -5. Fastest creature on two legs -6. Goddess of victory - not Nike -7. Wrote “Blue Suede Shoes” -8. First name of the villain Goldfinger -9. Sculptor of the Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota -10. Character in 60s TV series played by Clint Eastwood -11. Batty opera - not Glyndbourne -12. Sang with Big Brother & the Holding Company -13. Guitar amplifier maker - not Fender -14. TV Sci-fi series -15. Musical number from "The Producers" 16. Punctuation mark/accent, mainly French not circumflex -17. Rode from Charleston to Lexington -18. Foolhardy flier -19. TV character, always warned “Let’s be careful out there” -20. 19th century German composer -21. Fourth book of the Pentateuch -22. Richard Penniman is better known as... -23. An onlooker, often unwanted - not peeping Tom -24. Day before All Saints Day -25. Desert in Mongolia/NE China -26. Dave Brubeck 1961 composition in 7/4 time
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

Remi - both good! Pandora, butterflybabe - they both fit but I'm using those letters for something else and there are alternatives... michele - ostrich looks good, but there is an alternatve to Nike Like it Lady K, but michele gets it (for once, I'm not being sneaky )

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
