Ah yes. I figured out some answers yesterday but forgot to note the direction on my spreadsheet and did not double check myself before posting. Thanks for taking the answer anyway.

Can I post some more? I don't want to hog the puzzle. smile

I knew you knew the answer. smile

The puzzle was originally posted 5 days ago. There's been plenty of time for people to take part in it. Feel free to finish it off. kissy

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Two are perfect, oldbroad. "Seemly" does start on L9 but it ends on K10. wave

soot, I'm very sorry to tell you you're close, but no cigar. kissy

oldbroad, one of the best things about being a moderator is the ability to erase embarrassing posts. Your answer was correct. grin

oldbroad, I see that "seemly" has been crossed off the list. Maybe Sue found her glasses and took another look. lol I've got that word in the same place you did.
In the time it took me to type this, Sue swooped in and cleaned it up! bravo

Here are the rest:

D6 - F5 SHALL
N4 - N6 WHINE
M6 - M7 REVEL
I4 - J2 TINES
D8 - F7 RUNNY

The best math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of current decisions.

The fly ought to be used as the symbol of impertinence and audacity;
for while all other animals shun man more than anything else,
and run away even before he comes near them,
the fly lights on his very nose.

I thought (for some reason) that oldbroad had ended the word on K11. My mistake. smile

Great jobs by all! Thanks for playing. wave
