This is a Shatner-free zone. Honest! -1. Denis Weaver played a terrorised car-driver in which 1971 thriller? -2. The Meanies were the villains in which 1968 movie? -3. Which male film star played a female in all his films? Number of legs could be important -4. The film Kiss me Kate is based on which Shakespeare play? -5. Who was appointed US Ambassador in Ghana in 1974? -6. In which 1995 film was there a talking duck named Ferdinand who wanted to be a cockerel? 7 . Who actually said in a classic western "A man's got to do what a man's got to do"?-8. Which instrument was "played" by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like it Hot? -9. What was the sequel to True Grit? -10. What does the figure in the Oscar statuette stand on? -11. Where were Postcards from in the 1990 movie? -12. This is a publicity photo from which classic movie? And name the actor back centre.

1. Duel - one of the few movies that gave me nightmares Shatner-free? What a sad concept.
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Marie - that's what I thought, but apparently it's another well-known cowboy actor Good luck with that one UW. Pandie is quite persistent Know what you mean, manxman. You've only got to leave the tiniest crack, then "whoof" and that picture appears. As for all the others, faultless! Know what you mean, Pandora. The bit where he falls asleep in his car in the scrapyard and is woken as the freight train thunders past made me jump out of my skin.

manxman, OrleansBelle - my apologies. My source said that it was Alan Ladd in "Shane" but this is apparently not so, and that nobody actually uttered that line. Would be interested if anyone can find out the truth...
