Duke Leto tested and dismissed a variety of transport options before leaving for Arrakis.

Great entries by one and all I had quite the time trying to come up with just 'one' winner for this week's trophy... But in the end, one of my favorite books came to mind and it was Frank Herbert's "Dune" that rose to the top Duke Leto tested and dismissed a variety of transport options before leaving for Arrakis.
Congratulations flotsam! Well played

The newest Dune movie is due out soon. I can't wait. I read all of Frank Herbert's novels, even the one he was working on which his family finally finished after he died.

Good one flotsam! (I recently purchased the first few Dune books in a cheap deal on the Kindle and have started to re-read the first one)
