Thanks Marian!

This is not meant as a negative comment, just an observation. Domini seems to have started several new game series recently. I'm wondering if they will all actually develop into a "series" or remain as "stand alone" games.

I have been wondering about that too. Sometimes the description specifically states that it is the beginning of a new series, but who knows if that will stand the test of time. We will just have to see what 2022 brings.

Hi, Marian!

Apparently, you can't use BOGO codes for games that are "Tomorrow's Game Today". I tried to buy this one and the new MCF using the code "BLACK" and received the message that the code I entered was not valid for a discount on any products in my cart. I then changed to the new MCF and another random CE, and the code was accepted, but I didn't buy them. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Very strange smile.

Hi Susan, other people were reporting this on Facebook as well as another forum that I frequent. Hoping that the code will work tomorrow for Criminal Archives as well. wave

Hi, Marian!

Thanks for the info. They know I'm a Game Club member because I can't play or buy "Tomorrow's Game Today" unless I sign in. The BOGO code works for any other 2 CE games, but not when "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" is one of them. I'll try again tomorrow and, if the problem persists, I'll contact Big Fish Customer Service. In the meantime, since I don't want to waste the BOGO code, I'll find another game to pair with MCF.

Hi, Marian!

Just to follow up, I tried the BOGO code again today that included "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" and it still doesn't work. I posted a message on BFG's Facebook page and, if I don't receive a response from BF, I'll go ahead and use the BOGO code for the new MCF and another CE and contact Customer Service .

Sounds good, Susan. Everyone else who had this problem yesterday is apparently still having it today, based on what I have been reading.

Hi, Marian!

This gets stranger and stranger. I thought "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" was the problem; however, I can pair it with any another CE and the BOGO code works. It's when I pair it with the new MCF that the code won't work. The same thing happens with the new MCF. I can pair it with any other CE but "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" and the code works. So what it boils down to is, the new MCF and "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" can't be purchased together using the BOGO code confused .

Hi, Marian and oldbroad!

It makes no sense at all, so I used the BOGO code to buy the new MCF and Dark City: Paris and I'm downloading them now. I didn't get a response from anyone at Big Fish to my Facebook post (although another poster replied that she had the same problem), so I'll contact Customer Service tomorrow. I save my Game Club credits for the BOGO sales, but was unable to buy the 2 games I wanted.

Hi, Marian!

I didn't get a response to my Facebook post, but someone else tried to buy the same 2 games using the "BLACK" BOGO code, and received a completely different error message than I did. I contacted Customer Service this morning, so I'll let you know what they say. Apparently, they are very busy so their response time will be longer than their typical 24 - 72 hour wait times grin .

You might hear from them a little sooner than you expect, too. I will say that Customer Support has been very good the last few months and I have always heard back from them when I have submitted a help request. I imagine they will be getting plenty of emails about this issue.

Hi, Marian!

That's good to know. This is the first time it's been necessary for me to contact Customer Support since all of the changes were made, and I've read so many negative comments about customer service really going downhill. It's great that you've had positive results, and I agree that they have probably been overwhelmed with complaints about the BOGO glitch. I've been a member of Big Fish for over 12 years, and have never run into a problem with a promo code before, and there have been only a handful of occasions when I encountered a glitch in one of the games.

After they laid off so many employees last year is when CS started going downhill, and it was hard to get a hold of a real person for a while there. For several months now, I am happy to report that things have been back to normal.

This is the first time I can remember hearing about a problem with a promo code.

Hi, Marian!

I'm very glad to hear that things are back to normal because Big Fish's customer service was always second-to-none. On the few occasions I contacted them about glitches I had encountered, I was more than satisfied with their resolution.

The strange thing is, completely different error messages were received when the BOGO code was used for the same 2 games.

In the meantime, I will enjoy "MCF: Incident At Pendle Tower" and "Dark City: Paris" because the BOGO code worked just fine with them lol !

Hi, Marian!

I just received an email from Big Fish with instructions on how to use BOGO codes correctly and how to update my billing information, so it was obviously an automated response. Since I did state in my original request that I used the BOGO code to purchase the new MCF with a CE other than "Criminal Archives: City on Fire" because it wouldn't work with those two games together, I pointed out in my email that the problem was on their end and there was nothing wrong with my billing information or my knowledge of the use of promo codes.

I'm surprised Big Fish didn't choose to address the glitch instead of sending a generic response but, hopefully, I'll receive another email from a real person who will deal with my complaint lol !

Susan, based on my experience, I usually get the automated email with the free game code first, then I have to reply to that email, and then the next time I get a real human being. I think it generally depends upon how busy they are and how many people they have waiting in the queue.

Hi, Marian!

I am so glad you responded with your experience, because I didn't even notice the free game code in the email duh ! I just reread it, and there it was. I can use it to buy "Criminal Archives: City on Fire", or "Christmas Wonderland 12" because I really enjoy that series.

Thanks again! Now I'll send another email to BFG thanking them for the code.

Hi, Marian!

I am pleased to report that Customer Service at Big Fish Games is back to the level we enjoyed for so many years and have come to expect from them. I just received a response from a live representative. He included a second free code with an apology and told me to feel free to use both of them because I sent a follow-up email to let them know that I didn't notice the free code in the automated email and wanted to thank them.
