I started to really worry about her the last couple of days, being as she has not been online for a few days and I knew she was ill. Thank you so much for posting about this, Marita. Ana, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you feel better soon.

First off all, Ana says : “Tell them I miss them all and thank them for all the love.” Ana is as she said taking baby steps. She has gotten her temperature down which is a good thing. She is pretty much a couch potato with Nugget’s head on her lap. She hasn’t left her side. ( I’m sure this is a good thing for both). Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I have quite a ways to go, but no longer feeling like my only existence is stay out of the hospital. My oxygen levels are getting higher every day and that is the biggest hurdle.
My dog Nugget has been at my side 24/7. She is a great therapy dog!

I best return to the couch before my warden comes and yells at me!

So glad you are getting better Ana, I've been "out of the loop" for the past two weeks and have only just logged on to Gameboomers today, so sorry if my best wishes are a little late.

My husband was rushed to hospital with a stomach abscess and I went with him and got stuck in a hotel for over a week with no internet.

He is home now with a abdominal drain and seems to be getting better, I'm the "Warden" in our house.

Hope you recover fully soon.

So sorry to hear of your husbands illness. Glad he's on the mend now too! Good he has a warden to over see his return to health.
I'm doing very well, thank you. Still not back to work, but hopeful, I can go back next week.

Lungs are clear again, just need to build up their capacity and strength again. Returning to work on Monday but not taking on a crazy full schedule. Most of you know I work outside and with the weather we have been having (It's 13F right now), working outside in this takes a toll on you anyways, especially your lungs!
It's been quite the ride so far this year! I'm looking forward to some normalcy!

Nugget has been a godsend. She is the best therapy dog ever! She is also thrilled she is back to getting daily hikes and chasing mice in the field since Thursday. Life is good!

Back to 6 miles today, but we had a snowstorm and walking through the snow was a challenge in itself! That will be the norm for a bit I hope. I'm trying to keep things not so busy if possible.
