If I didn't back it, I would feel differently, oldbroad. I don't care if someone dabbles for 20 years on a game (it would take me longer ) Just don't give me a story about how far along it is and ask me for money. It was to be released in Dec 2013 I believe was the promised date.

I didn't even read it... blah, blah, blah. I did try to read it, but after a few sentences could tell that there was really nothing new, and I stopped.

So there ya go —————————————- Well, as a backer myself, I DID read the WHOLE update .. hence my “tongue in cheek” post about it !!!! Who knows what might happen though ?? After all, I was sure I caught sight of a flying pig only yesterday

I could not resist, I had to read the update. I have to say this update has turned my thoughts completely around on what I have thought about Asylum. It has felt like Agustin's occassional updates were to keep backers hopes up and off his back. I believe Agustin has been working on it with very few employees, if any at times, with NO MONEY to pay those individuals. That ran out a long time ago. Those clips in this update I believe are new which tells me he is still trying to get Asylum released. As long as it is taking to reach that goal hopefully Asylum, when ever released, will be one to remember. There is only one other game to my knowledge that took awhile to release and that was Prominance . 12 years in the making and in my opinion was worth the wait. Can only hope when released Asylum turns out to be a good game. I know many could care less one way or the other right now. I just hope those who backed the game will some day get their due. Many probably don't care about that either depending. You know he actually sounds excited here: "Next steps involve boosting our community management efforts, relaunching our Senscape website, and bringing you more frequent news. Just stick around, because there's more coming, and we're not going anywhere." It sounds to me that something good has come to Senscape / Agustin. It's really sad what has happened to Asylum. I can remember when it was first announced everyone was fired up about it. A scary asylum game. This is gonna be good and long over due then everything went to hell. We will never know why. I believe in the beginning Agustin's heart was in it but he bit off more then he could chew and ran out of "Kickstarter". The fact that he is still throwing updates out there with new video clips and has not skipped town says a lot. I went from a "never gonna see this game" to believing Senscape is working to get Asylum released. It's been a hard road for Agustin yet he is still here Thank you Ana
It's never too late!

I agree with Orion. At one point I was bitter about the never ending delays, but now I just feel sorry for Agustin Cordes. I too think his heart always was in the right place with this game, but he bit off an ungodly amount more than he and his small team could chew. Game is just way too big and ambitious for their budget. I still look forward to playing it whenever he feels it is ready for release. Meanwhile I am eating right, exercising each day and doing everything else I can to try and ensure I live to see that day! LOL

lakerz, feeling sorry for someone who took 120,000 dollars from people to complete a game, taken tons of family vacations and other projects is not at all what I feel. His team is now the cinematic team working on a new Silent Hill streaming series. You may need to plan to add a few more years on to your wellness plan.
