Are there Puzzles that rely on reproducing sounds that you hear?

I'm very, very tone deaf.

Played the violin when I was younger, but age and two teenagers have turned this "old" lady tone deficient.

There are a couple of puzzles that are based on sounds. I don't want to give too much away - you will need to recognize certain sounds.

Mdamlady,
If you're thinking of the tone matching sliders in Myst, I can tell you that Cos' sound puzzles should be easier for you in that respect. It's the figuring out of what to do that takes some doing. smile

A day without books is like...just kidding. I have no idea.

Me too--- I have a hearing loss that changes or eliminates my perception of certain tones--so when I get to those parts will have to rely on my fellow GBer's or my dh for a way around. duh
