Sacred Rings of Aura

Everything was going smoothly until the Candle Puzzle. Can you help me with it. I have a WT I can,t seem to find an answer. Any help I can get would really - really be appreciated.

Geri,

Follow the walkthrough's chart.

If the candle that is lit is - for example at #10, then click #11, 12, 13... until you reach 25. Then click #1 until #9 and all the candles are lit.

I am sorry but I can't seem to make it work. I am following your chart but it doesn't seem to connect in sequence. I tried both across and up and down. There must be something I am not doing correctly. Could you explain it a little more.

Geri,

Start the puzzle.
Take note of where your candle is lit.
Find it in the wt chart and take note of the number in that frame-square.
Then continue to click on the candles by numerical order.
For example - you see that your first candle that is lit is in square #10, then find the square that has #11 and click on that candle. Continue to 12, 13....

I hope I have the correct thread. I started Sacred Rings and am using your WT but I am in the castle and in the room with the elevator in the floor. The stairs go up to the locked door but it is a dead end and I can't find any other staircase except going down. Did I miss something? I can't find the window to look out from.

But you already have one thread made for this game, so I added your other post here.

Across from that locked door is a window. It is just for info. Continue on with the game and it will be alright.

I can see that the window is for show but I cannot find the panel with directions. I am going around in circles and can't seem to get anywhere. Where is the panel, etc? I can find nothing.

I am in the Tower hoping to go to the Watchtower but my WT says there is a "Ballista" with a control panel. I cannot find it and I keep going in circles looking for steps to climb and see a parapet with a rope to climb and a door with a ladder. The only item I can find up the stairs is a locked door with a weird lock.

I am missing a turn somewhere. I even restarted from the prison cells again. I hope you can help me.

Geri the ballista is in the tower. Do you know how to get back to the watchtower? Those stairs are the ones you had access to after you jimmied the gate open with a rock.

Yes I am in the tower after going thru the gate and I am the room with the elevator and I have gone up the only set of stairs I can find and as I said this is a dead end. There must be another set of stairs somewhere but I can't find them. The stairs I am on go to the locked door with the "Cross" lock

If you are in the elevator floor and needs to go to the ballista:
Go to the door across the elevator.
Exit to the big room with a broken spiral stairtcase.
Go across and exit that door.
You will be at the balcony with gargoyles.
Exit through the door.
Climb the stairs at the watchtower until the very top.
exit through the door and see the ballista here.

Your directions worked perfectly. I am in the tower room and parapet and have fired the "Ballista" Every thing went will un til I come to the part that says "Click the spear on the rope"

I have walked arount both upper and lower areas but I cannot find the spear to attach to the rope to get into the Mages room.

Do you have any suggestions

Geri go back to where the elevator is, go down the guards hall and open the last door on the right. The spear is up against a wall on your right.
Be sure to save your game just before you open any door, I think there's only one room that is safe for you to go into.

I am sorry to say I cannot find a guard's hall. I have been over the entire area even back to the dungeons and nothing. The only other out I see are the stairs going down stairs but no door only a guard who captures. Could you please tell me where the hall is and how to get there.

This game is driving me nuts.

Not that I know of. The only rope I can remember is the one in the tower next to the ballista
Are you talking about a rope in the castle?

Geri if you have not cut a rope and caused an elevator and a guard in it to fall then you have missed an area of the game. The guard that kills you is down a set of stairs? There should be an elevator with a level before you walk into his area? Have you seen that?

Yes I have seen the elevator and went down it but again a guard captured me. Is there something I must do? (like kill him)
I have MaG's WT but it does not mention the elevator, jus put the spear on the rope, etc. What am I missing? Sorry to have so many questions bust as I said, this game is driving me crazy and I am determined to finish

Hot dawg! You are using the w/t! That should make this a tad easier.
I just looked at the w/t and it does say to use the elevator. "See an elevator at the center with a lever on the floor".
That is where you need to be. Go down those stairs to the right of that elevator, walk to the right side around the elevator itself, locate that lever on the ground floor and pull the lever. You should get a cut scene of a guard walking towards you. As soon as you have control of Umang take him to the right in front of the elevator and click towards the stairs that go UP. Once you are up on the other floor cut the elevator rope with your knife.

I am there - HOORAY

I am now in the final scene with the RINGS and hoping to end the game before I fall asleep [2:00AM] here. I just need a push in the directions to locate the 4 stands with the programable buttons. I circled around and around and can't seem to locate them. Do you have a final suggestions.

Does any one actually play and finish these games without a WT?

Are you in the sacred ring lab already?

If so - Circle the hallway around the room and look towards the inside of the hallway.
There are 4 platforms on the inside wall of the hallway that have the stands.
