welcome nursejane,
You can only enter Hooke's house much later in the game. Have you been to the lighthouse yet?
Tell us what you've done already.

Tina,
Go back by walking the path you came down on. Can you not do that? Turn around, use the W key.
You do not use the eye icon after clicking on X key. It only shows you where the active areas are located. After knowing where the active spots are - toggle off X and then continue with the game.

Okay, so doing that he says "this is where Patrick fell" and nothing more. I've noticed all the firepits up on top and gone and seen the loose railing too.

Tina,

Have you touchedthe railing at the lookout building up on top of the cliff?
Do that and then go down the path to the bottom of the cliff. See if you can find an active rock down there too.

Pagol please ask that question in the Discussion forum. You will get a lot of responses there.

I have just installed the game and have recieved 6 emails that there are issues with the game, has anyone had problems or do i need a patch before i start, figured the first thread on the game would be best place to ask for trouble if any exist
i also noticed on the box that they recommend 1gig ram which i have so maybe that is where some problems poped up?????????

thanks all

computer has been down now back to bussiness

Jimmy I am not aware of any patches but if you run into problems, please post in the Glitches forum and see if they can't help you.

I'm still early on in the game - it's taking me a long time to get used to keyboard play. I can't move the hand icon in the padlock puzzle. What to do?

Grannieannnie what do you mean you can't move the hand icon? After you get one of the four sections complete, use the arrows I think to move to the next section. The space bar will allow you to rotate the sections until you find the one you want.

Grannie did you solved the padlockpuzzle or not? if not you have to solve that puzzle by pressing spacebar, then scroll with the A-key and D-key to set the pictures in the correct order as you can see on the banner in the corrider.

Enjoy your game

I'm in the cave with Edward and Mr. Hooke. Everytime I choose Hooke and choose the topic "the gun is empty", I get shot. I looked at MaG's walkthrough and I never got a hand icon. What am I doing wrong?

After using the mouth icon to say the gun is empty - Hooke says No... and looks at the gun.
Then the hand icon appears - click the right arrow.
Watch the icons on the right to see when it appeard.

I finally was able to finish the game...I overrided the witch's hut dead end glitch by loading a very early saved game and I have a question about the final puzzle at Thunder Island:

Click to reveal..
The book's page about destroying the demon and the pillar at the center of Thunder Island state that the correct runes are Acra, Urak & Culu but the runes that work are Acra, Zeph & Inus.

Another bug or the programmers of this game aren't capable of designing logic puzzles?

The question has been asked of the developers. They have not responded as of yet.

The developer stated:

Quote:
There is an error in puzzle that we already fixed. The solution for puzzle still same: Acra, Zeph and Inus (clues have been fixed as well)

I have inquired about patch.
