Now back to your question:
First has Nancy asked Bess to do something for her at the Curio shop.
If so, have you done the correct arrangement of the items above the scale?
Has Bess tested it by standing on the scale herself and see if the setup is okay?
Then if Bess states that it is okay now; talk to Lamont and Bess will ask him to do something on the setup.

Now for the gumbo, that will be for the second time Nancy asks Bess to do something in the back room. You can't do that yet if you haven't done the setup above the scale.

i have the set up correct. Bess sneezes and the screen goes to green. then it comes back and she is asking lamant to help her and the music plays again but he does not seem to help.

Sounds like you're missing the cutscenes.
After the music, what do you see in the screen?
Can you go to the back room now. Try that and see if you missed the cutscene of Lamont doing the check of the setup.
If you miss another cutscene, better post at Her Interactive support or at the Glitches forum here at GB.

I am well into the game. When I open the cabinet with all the eyes I am missing #11 and # 18. Is there any way to find out where these two eyes are?

Cinamatuse it looks like eye 11 is associated with a puzzle at a Grandfather clock and 18 is found in the miniature cemetery at the Writhing Roots mausoleum.

Crystal Skull I retried the clock and the miniature cemetery and nothing happens. Any other suggestions

Cinamatuse I'm not this far in the game yet and really don't want to know answers to puzzles I haven't found. Please compare what you've done with the w/t and see if you csan't figure out what you are missing.

Well still no luck. I can not get the cutscene on my computer for the curio shop. Once I activate the scale and Bess sneezes it goes to a green screen. I have uninstalled, reinstalled started the game over. Nothing. I have left a message on the Glitch part of the board but no answer yet. Any Ideas???????
