Thank you Texas lady for the save game for Next Life.
I thought I knew how to use it, but I was wrong.

Could you please send me detailed instructions on how to install a save game. Thank you, (unskilled Lou)

Lou,

I combined your 2 threads. No need to start a new one if it is about the same game.
The step by step for installing the saved game is found at the stickied thread at top of page.
------
If your OS is XP:
Open your My Computer, C drive, Program files, Next Life folder, bin folder and then saves folder.
Check the last number of the .esa files inside that saves folder.
Now, download the one sent to you to the desktop.
Change the number of the file to the number that should be the last one in the saves folder that is opened above.
Then click-hold-drop the relabeled file inside the saves folder to join the rest of the .esa files.
CLOSE all folders.
Play - load the game as usual. See the relabeled saves there now.
Have fun.

Hi MaG,

I have followed your instructions for installing the save game, but I must be doing something wrong.

The save game is in the save folder but it is listed as an email file. H E L P. Lou

Good morning Sue,

I finely got it to work. I used the second save game you sent to me.

Thanks to you and MaG, I am enjoying Next Life again.

Thanks again, Lou

Sue I am getting chopped in 1/2 just after I start following Dieter. Wherever I try to go on screen I end up veering right & being sliced in 2.
I hate this sort of thing ... I was really enjoying the game but I cannot progress.

Jenny,

Walk on the plank left of the screen. Do not take the path at right.

Thanks MaG, I'll try it, the plank is invisible so you can't see it....
Fingers crossed

After Life

Got the e-mail and it worked, Yeah!!! Thank you so much. Actually, hate to bother you again but could you send me the red heart puzzle saved game (cpr). Boy, this game sure is hard for the non-dexterous finger type people.

Thanks Sue
