I am stuck in the mine. I am trying to find the wire. I have looked and looked but cannot find any destroyed stone wall, only a destroyed building. I see the sleeping barracks so looked all around there. Can someone either post a picture of where it is of give me detailed exact instructions from where you get the gas can which I did find or even from the power generator which ever is easier. Thank you.

Go south as far as you can get, then go east until you can't go any further. There's the spot where you can find the wire. (As far as I remember!)

Thanks for the help but without an in game compass and the changing angles directional help does no good. I need left - right - up - down from the screen perspective. I tried what you said and got nowhere : moving down and to the left.

Go down as far as you can go until you are blocked by the fence then go to the right as far as you can. The wire should be there!
