Hey GameBoomers,

I'm developing a video game based around detective fiction. As such, I'd like your help in finding out what kinds of adventure games, and detective stories, you like. (Adventure games are essentially mysteries, anyway.)

Please fill out this survey, entitled "Adventure Game Detective Fiction Survey". I would love your input. It will essentially tell me what kind of game to make.

Thanks!

-Stefan

I tried to fill it out, but I have no idea what "Clue" is.

Hi Stefan and welcome to GameBoomers! welcome

I took the survey -- there were questions where I answered with my preference, but I could easily have selected several answers (my preferences aren't all that strong). I'm not sure how to show that in the questionnaire.

Pollo -- here's some info about Clue.

Thanks for the explanation. smile
Haven't played that board game, so can't say if I like to play it or not. However, the survey seems to accept the results even when you skip one question, so no problems there. smile

I just finished the survey, I hope it went through. I clicked finish and it just went to a "create your own survey" page.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for asking for input! I finished your survey but would have liked to add comments as well as my choices. Too bad it doesn't allow that. Oh well. Hope it helps!

Hey GameBoomers!

I really appreciate all your help and comments. I did add a "comment" feature at the end for new people taking the survey.

It really does help me and the product my team are building. I'm thrilled that there are some passionate and opinionated people out there willing to contribute to the creative process.

As for my work, I'm busy developing tools for my team to build the product. I think I should put up a blog so people can watch the development of level one.

Thanks again!

I've done the survey Stefan, hope it goes well for you.
Are you developing the game yourself or with a company?

The base engine is being built by myself. I'm always scoping out a publisher as I go through prototypes. It's a hard life, let's just say!

Man, you gameboomers people are really helpful. You guys have been the best online response so far. Every survey counts, so I greatly appreciate all your input.
