Hi Boomers....

I just finished Limbo....I have to start out by saying I now agree with Ana on the pixel hunting....What a pain...

Endless searching in dark areas to find something...Back & forth to the same areas to see if something triggered something..

Nice graphics....Great interface !!! Music & story line <Wonderful>

Was it worth $40.00 from singapore NAH

All the hoop-la....Is just alot of this & that...

My opinion yay

Luv Dar

I disagree. I thought it was a highly imaginative game. I, too, got tired of slogging along, but consulted the Walkthrough. Using that detailed explanation, it became a truly wonderful adventure. I chuckled out loud many times. I know many Gamerboomers are against using Walkthroughs, but when you're befuddled, why not give it a try? I'm glad I spent the $40.00 to have a good time.

Teddo I agree. I thought it was a wonderful adventure as well. Yes it was alot of wandering from place to the same place over and over, but I chuckled alot as well. I thought the characters were wonderful and the story was great. I did get somewhat frustrated with the wandering, but Overall I enjoyed it immenseley. I think it was well worth the money. I paid 40.00 for some other games that quite frankly were defintely not worth the money or the time, but this wasn't one of them. Just my opinion.

Hi smile

I too enjoyed the game grin

Not perfect .... but how many are ??

[And anyway, as we all know, perfect for one person isn't perfect for another lol]

I'm glad I gave it a go yes

Cheers.

I was disappointed in it -- was expecting more of a fantasy/supernatural story -- more to do with the mystery of the Flying Dutchman. And the game turned out to be more of a humor/horror game with booger factor. Remember the description of the booger factor from the Bad Mojo interview?

Definitely NOT worth any $40. More like $20 or $25.
If the whole game had been like Darkmere, it would have been worth more.

I thought the game was a wonderful adventure I enjoyed very much. It did have some disadvantages but don't all adventure games. I definitely think it was worth the 40.00 I spent. I do agree with Sly One that there are some that I have paid just as much for and was no where close to Limbo of The Lost. I am waiting on Limbo of The Lost II. bravo

I liked it; very clever and entertaining. Lots of wandering, but then, that seems to be the case in most adventure games. (We call it "exploring" hee lol)Worth $40.? yeah, I think so. The ending alone was worth about $10.! Compared to stinkers (my opinion)like Carte Blanche which was over-hyped and over-priced it was well worth it.

I really enjoyed this game a lot - I loved the many 'stereotyped' characters, the artwork & animation were excellent, & the voice acting & dialects were spot on! I liked also the self-contained styles in each of the levels. I didn't mind too much the walking back & forth but got a little frustrated with trying to find all the exits to some of the scenes.

I also really liked the humour - I chuckled a lot throughout! - the funniest for me being, as I perceived it to be, the 'comment' on an aspect of UK public transport in one of the levels! (Not far wrong! lol)

Was it worth the money? Absolutely! - it was very different to, if not better than, many other games I've played & was very entertaining! smile
