Some adventurer I am. I thought I had a "glitch" because I couldn't turn on the sub titles. Of course a kindly Gameboomer came to my aid over in the glitches forum.

Now, I can't even find the manual. I read in the archives that it is a pdf file, but I can't find it on my computer. Here is my hope a. it is right in front of my face and I just can't see it b. there is nothing in the manual that I will need. Will someone please enlighten me and put me out of my misery?

I looked for mine and then saw it on the desktop. See if it is there. It is quite big 3.5 MBs and I don't think my mail can get it to you.

It helps to read the manual though. I usually do.

I've looked everywhere, and it is not to be found (at least not tonight). I even re-installed the game...nope.
I will have to journey on without the aid of the manual, but I do have your walkthrough!

Jeanne, did you check the DVD itself for the PDF? I traded my game so I don't have it anymore but I do remember seeing it when I was looking at the DVD contents and like MaG, I am pretty sure it ended up on my desktop as well (either as a shortcut or the full file -- can't remember now).

Pop in the DVD, cancel the autoplay install and go to "my computer". Right click the DVD and choose explore and you should be able to see all the DVD contents and copy that PDF to your computer.

Eureka! Thank you so much for the step by step instructions.
I was searching the files on my hard drive, not the DVD itself.
I now have read the full manual, and as MaG said, it did help me to understand the interface better.
