Have been trying to get through the cave for ages. Please can someone send me a save game after the cave or thereabouts.
Thanks so much. wave

Upsydaisy,

I haven't played the game, so no saves. I hope someone who has some will stop by. wave

I've played the game but unfortunately it doesn't save all the crucial spots you pass by - as soon as you have solved another task, the game saves automatically and overwrites the previous savegame so that in the end you only have one savegame. I didn't realise this until I was already halfway through the game; otherwise, I would have tried to copy the savegames and store them elsewhere for further usage - especially since you can use English savegames on the German version of the game and vice versa since the German version allows you to switch to another language at any time.

Maybe I can help you in another way. Which cave is this? There are two - one in the second or third chapter, one a little later. The second cave is a little trickier, the first one can be done pretty easily. You need to make sure you have plenty of torches before you enter the cave - I took with me at least 3 or 4 torches. If you approach an opening with light shining through from above, extinguish the torch and continue until the place becomes darker again, then relight the torch. Same goes for bats and waterfalls - relight the torch as quickly as you can once it has been extinguished. You can't get lost in the caves; there are no mazes, the path is pretty straightforward. In the second cave, however, you need to be more careful - there are some holes you could fall down. So it's probably better to take your time; don't run if you don't have to and, as I said earlier, make sure you have enough torches in your inventory.

Shiny.

Hi Jehane, I'm in the first cave. Have tried with the lighter and one torch. I will take your advice and get some more torches!! Thanks for replying, didn't realise there is only one save game. thanks

I think on my final try I may have had 4 torches. And I think that there were holes in that first cave too. Sometimes adjusting the view to a little lower level helped to see them better.
Good luck it is fun.
I wasn't crazy about the save method though. Sometimes you just need to be able to stop a game - dinner is done or whatever.
