Todays new release is Sherlock Holmes: Mystery of the Persian Carpet by Frogwares! yay

Quote:
Hunker down at your flat at 221b Baker St. in London. The year is 1896, and Scotland Yard has called Sherlock Holmes with an urgent request for help. Along with Watson, you must investigate a peculiar crime - a young painter has been murdered and found rolled up in a remarkable Persian carpet. Explore scenes in order to find clues and reveal suspects. Use Police reports with interrogations and statements of witnesses in Sherlock Holmes: Mystery of the Persian Carpet.

Puzzle & Adventure game
Analyze clues and evidence
Crime scene items

EDIT: The timer is being removed so don't let the discourage your purchase!

EDIT AGAIN: PLEASE do not post here for Hints. There is a thread going for that purpose only. Thanks!

I am anxious for others to start playing the game because I am in part 4 and need a clue what to do. I do encourage all who can to download this, in my humble opinion it beats any game I have played thus far in casual games. If anyone is already playing the game and wants to PM me we can compare how far we each are in the game.

Sherryah - start a help thread and that way we don't have to worry about spoilers. I would rather it go on the board than via PM because it helps others.

As stated in the first post, it is available today only for BigFish Game Club Members. You would either have to join the Club here or wait till the public release tomorrow. You can then use the coupon and get 40% off. All BigFish games are regularly 19.99.

These are CASUAL games...NOT adventure games.

Hello all, so nobody noticed that The Mystery of the Persian Carpet is a Frogwares game? bad, bad, bad boomers...
We launched ourselves into the casual gaming and we would like to have our feelings about the game so far?

lol I have an excuse, I am still at work! It is definitely on my agenda for the evening though. Can't wait! You snuck that one in...I haven't heard a rumble about it before today.

EDIT: Totally loving this game...it'd be almost perfect if I could get rid of the timer. Too stressful for me to relax with the game. I am nearly to level 7 and I love all the puzzles, but the fact that the clock is ticking kills any moment you may have to unwind with a game.
