It appears the BF just put out a new HOG. Hide and Secret 2: Cliffhanger Castle. I hope it's not like Hide and Secret 1 -- did not care for it at all.

I am downloading now and will check it out.

I actually liked the first Hide and Secret. I downloaded and bought this one yesterday. So far I am having fun with it. It is a little different from the first one, and a little harder I think. No timer that I could see, although you can run out of air in one section(don't want to give away too much). You can reply a level if you can't find the objects and have used up your hints (you get a new set of items to find).
So far I really like this one too.But then again I am very easy to please.

Hi looney,
I am up to the section where you have to get the pieces of King Tut's mask.I just got the last piece. I think the game is rather cute, even with Will's really bad jokes, and puns.

I know that some people didn't like the first one, because they felt the objects weren't hidden enough. This one is a litle harder, and no timer always helps. I usually don't have a problem with timers, most games give you enough time, one exception is that Sherlock Holmes and The Persian Carpet game. That timer was brutal.

I agree that this a better game than the first one, still a little too "talkie" for me. I have purchased it however because I like to support BF and it is pretty decent.

Just played the demo, and sorry to say I didn't care for it. As was said, to much talking and poor "joking", though it does try to keep the storyline moving along and interesting. Would prefer that Will was a little more mature.
Also the first one that I had trouble with slow and at times jerky pointer movement. And something kept flashing in the lower right corner of the screen near the items to be found. Very disconcerting.

I can usually read the text faster than they talk, so you could just skip the conversation if you wanted to.That would cut down on the talking.I will have to go back and see what is flashing in the lower right corner. Never noticed it.

I actually find this one really hard! I spent close to half an hour on the first screen alone!

I don't like that there is only 2 hints for a screen. This is deffinately the kind of game where I would love things to light up after a while.

In practically every HOG I buy I don't bother paying any attention to the talkie and writing parts, I just skip them. I'm in it for the actual action and don't much care about the story behind it, unless it's like Dream Chronicles or Hidden Secrets.

I like to read the story but not when I am on a 60 minute demo so I too skip the chats.

I agree with jldcat, this game is harder and I actually have needed the hints! This is so much better than Hide and Secret that I don't know where to start. Trying to find 10 T's in a screen full of heiroglyphs should give you an idea of the game this is now. H & S #2 is way more advanced in gameplay if not in the jokes department. Plus you can click on the items faster and no characters rushing on-screen with every item.

100% better IMHO.

So many games, so little time.

Hi I am new to this. I have a problem with cliffhanger, the man keeps falling down the wall of the castle, there is one more piece to find and I cannot see it. There are no hints on this page. I think I have done Tut's mask. Anyone got any further?

Sorry, I haven't played yet so I am not sure how to help. Is this something yiou are looking for on a specific screen? If it is, you can send me a screenshot and I'll be happy to find it for you.

Sorry in a hurry to comply, missed the bit about paint. The castle wall is too high for one pic. If it's no good I'll have another go.
Thank you

The screenshots were perfect but I am still not seeing a piece that I think you need. If you can get the remaining screenshot, send it along. How far into the game is this? Would it take long for me to get there?
