Sherlock Holmes - Awakened

I wonder if you can help me. I am at the near ending of the game and I have just had Watson get the pole for Holmes sto get out of the hole. I can't find the hole. Could you pleasse give me some directions. I have centered my self and walked toward the Ram Stone, but I cannot find the hole.

Hi Geri,

Here are the directions from the walkthrough:

As Watson, from the hole in the ground where Holmes talks to you, turn around about 180 degrees and walk towards the large rock that should be straight in front of you. Climb the small incline and turn to the right, you should see a broken cask and a crate.

Pick up the log and bring back to the far hole on the ground. Drop the log and see it make a bridge.

If you're still in the ground area where Watson picked up the log, just follow the directions in reverse to get you back to the hole. Hope that works for you.

If you are by the Ram stone, you are at the other end of the island.
Best to go back to a saved game after talking to Holmes in the hole.
Then do a 180 turn. Walk towards the lighthouse with the water on your right.
Keep looking for the log on the ground as you go.
After picking it up, do another 180 turn, keep the water on your left and look for the hole where Holmes is located.

You were right I was at the wrong end of the Island. I followed your directions and found the hole easily.
