and I have to ask...What is the Point of the "Connect Three" puzzle? Does anyone like this activity? To me it just seems like mindless busywork that invariably makes me run out of time no matter how much I have left. Is there actually some kind of strategy to this that I'm not getting?

thanks

WW

Connect three is a match 3 game. When you get a match, you'll notice that the background tile colour changes slightly. The goal of this is to change the background tile colour on the entire board. If you have no more matches in areas that you need to "clear", then click "fill" and it will change the tiles.

Did that make sense?

Thank you, that did make sense. I did not notice anything about the background colour changing! I just noticed that sometimes I made progress and sometimes not and I had no idea why.

Rosa, are you still stuck there? Or did you get past it?

Rosa, the robot is a lot easier than it seems at first.

See this thread for tips on completing the Robot puzzles.

The robot is the only puzzle I used my passes on in the game. I also played before any tips were out there. I was hopelessly lost and frustrated om those. I am tempted to load it back up and give it a go.

Ana, you should! I also used my passes on that until I figured out that hey, the arrows disappear after a while. smile

The trick is not to panic, and to use foresite, map out your stategy as it is happening, you can keep one or two steps in front of the robot.

Good Luck,
Flo

This is a good game the only complaint is that you run out of time you have to redo all the puzzles again. I guess they figure we would be super fast to complete these puzzles what it does it makes the game not fun to play much. I don't like short timers at all.

yes, I did not like that aspect of the game much either! Or the fact that the "book" shuts itself off after a certain number of mistakes and then you have to do the whole level again. I usually did not have much trouble completing the puzzles, but there were a few that gave me intense problems, like pawns and connect three until I knew the strategy. Amazing how much difference that can make!

I stopped playing the game I keep running out of time and have to play the puzzles over again. I don't like to be rushed playing a game. I like the game a lot. To bad I couldn't stop the timer. I found a timer trainer but it didn't work.

A few of the puzzles were hard for me but I practiced them in that special area. I got a lot better, but I made sure to do the hardest puzzles first so if I wasn't doing well on them and was going to run out of time, I would just start over again. The rooms and most of the puzzles went very fast. There are solutions online for the Pawns, Towers and Matchsticks.
