22. While away from the game and engaging in real life, seeing an item that you'd been looking for in the game and thinking for a split second, "Oh, there it is! I finally found it!"

Oh man, I hope I'm not the only one that does this... crazy lol

23. When asked by my golfing buddies about what book I'm reading and I have to mumble something about computer games, headscratch and they think I'm talking about solitaire or something and I just kinda smile and change the subject. grin

26. When you have your computer configured to run new games, DOS games in DOSBox, Windows 3.1 games in DOSBox, and Windows 95/98 games to run in Virtual PC, so that you can play every adventure game known to man (including some that should be known to no one), and then making sure that you have each and every one of them. Now that's true gaming sickness. grin

27. Finds herself analyzing why a stranger walking down the street looks just like a computer game character. (Symmetrical face -- pony tail -- young -- slender.)

Getting a chuckle out of the blank stares that non-gamer friends and family have after you've just excitedly described your current game to them. (You just know that they're secretly thinking that there must be help for your "condition" somewhere.)

Hearing the beeping sounds from the turrets in Team Fortress 2 even AFTER you stop playing the game.

Gets withdrawal symptoms when comp has to go to store to be fixed, which recently happened to me, although when away on holiday, I don't even think about it.

I started out with 149 GIGS of space on my C drive and now have less than one. I just got a new E drive with 332 GIGS of space- wonder how long that will last.

Gets annoyed when hubby comes down to my computer room and starts asking questions about game I am playing, although he enjoys watching me, I hate it when he starts making suggestions about how to do things especially when I am following a W/T-which I always do.

Spends more money on games than on clothes LOL

Keep telling myself I should get a life instead of playing games all day.

Love playing with my cigarettes and beer on hand. I don't have crumbs in my keyboard, I have cigaette ash and condensation drips from my beer bottle!!.

Thanks; I was in the Mixed Bag diner and several were asking me what I was up to that day...well...now they know. lol

If someone mentions a place a person or maybe even food one immediately asks if that's a game.

Interesting idea for a new thread -- game titles that remind us of anything but games. I will start a new thread on this.

rotfl Just thinking of how that would sound on a non-gaming website.

I realized there was no going back for me when I once walked by a piece of equipment the painters had left out at my office complex and my first thought was, "Oh, I'd better put that in my inventory." eek
