Ameno,

shame That's not nice saying that about the boy.

You have to finish all the things inside the cave, the sign before the cave and have used up all the dialogue with the woman (Nanny Noah). Then the boy will be gone and you can go where he was standing before.

It's not worth starting a new thread over this, so I just wanted to ask:

Click to reveal..

What's the deal with feeding the pig in the game? What does it accomplish?

There's definitely definitely definitely no logic to human behaviour.

Hi Ameno,

Yes, the sign should be assembled correctly so that Nigel will eventually comment on it. You need to tweak the pieces around until they fit just right. You can left and right click to rotate the pieces in either direction. luck

Go around each of the rooms. Click on all active spots. You might have missed something.

I didn't use the walkthrough for this part. Just look around every corner and at everything and you should see it. Check around where the letters have to go.

This is from the walkthrough that you already checked:
N - Go right at foreground path until the yew tree at start of cemetery. Take N on the cross of a grave.

So go back outside the cemetery to the path going to this place.
The first view of the cemetery and the church in the background has a tree on the right side of the screen.
To the left of the tree is a grave with a cross. The N is on top of that.

Hi Anyone,

Didn't want to start a new thread to ask a question about the tape recorder. I have looked in all the instructions, but can't locate how to listen to the recorded voices/sounds unless I am back at the cottage using the tapes on the table.

According to the walkthrough, you should be able to listen to what is recorded right afterwards. How do you do that?

Don't mean to sound stupid, but is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,
Spankie

Hi TLC,

Yes, when I right click the tape recorder in inventory, he tells what kind of equipment it is.

Maybe - I could try right clicking while it's recording when the tape recorder is on a hot pot?

Thanks,
Spankie

spankie, try right-clicking on any actual tapes in your inventory, rather than the tape recorder itself.

Hi Rushes,

I don't recall seeing any tapes in inventory, just the tape recorder. But will check again once I start playing today.
Is that how you listen to the tape?

Thanks,
Spankie

Hi Spankie,

If you don't have any tapes in your inventory, then they will be in the tape box in your bedroom. Each time you visit the bedroom table, any important photos and tapes are automatically removed from your inventory and placed there.

While you are out and about, you can right-click on any existing tape(s) in your inventory to listen to them.

luck
