I tried it but couldn't figure out how to play it. It is a bit unusual to say the least. If a walkthrogh comes out, I may try it again. It doesn't actually seem much like a HOG - more like a puzzle game.

I can't even download it....I keep getting an error message that the installer is corrupted. I emailed Alawar yesterday morning but no reponse yet so I have given up at this point. Anyone else having a problem downloading? I have plenty of Alawar games and have never had an issue. Since some folks have been successful, maybe its me? Anyhow, don' think it's that big a deal for me at this point so I'll wait and see what others think about the game and who knows, maybe BFG will get it and if not, maybe I'm just not meant to play this one?

No issue here. Try downloading it again. I just downloaded and installed.

ETA: The gameplay reminds me of Mortimer Beckett where you pick up pieces of the objects and then use them to find other objects or puzzles.

it's cute (and like Misa said, similar to Mortimer Beckett) ... I quit before the demo time was up because I got tired of making constellations, there seemed to be no end and had to make the same ones over and over

Hey Misa....I did try over and over again to download and just can't do it. Now I'm really upset as I loved Mortimer Beckett....oh well win some you lose some. Thanks everyone. Enjoy and have fun. I'm sure sooner or later I will figure out what is wrong and get it to run, just not today.

Hi, I am stuck on the first part, at the mayas. what do you do to solve the little 9 square puzzle, and how do you make the statue sneeze? I don't want to play until I find out as I'm only playing the demo and I don't want to run out of time.

To make the statue sneeze tickle him with the branch.

dorish, can you let us know how long it is? I played it, enjoyed the hour immensely but am thinking it's going to be a very short game.

I will wait though until I see it on bigfish before I buy it as I hate the thought of paying $19.95 for a game that might only take a couple of hours to finish.

I wish there were more games like this one.

Jld, I will let you know WHEN I get to play the game. The demo played fine, but now that I have bought and installed the darn game, it will not play. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but no luck. I have contacted customer service, so I will just have to wait and see what they say.LOL

Dorish, isn't it like BigFish? You are actually downloading the full game when you playbthe demo, and all you do is unlock the one hour timer by buying the key. Did you have to redownload the game when you purchased it?

I bought a game from Alawar which would not work and was denied a refund. I would never buy a game from them again. Big Fish got Natalie Brooks which was an Alawar game so hopefully they will have this game too. It is delightful but beware of Alawar Customer Service. It is the worst.

What a shame....sorry to hear that b42241. Another reason I just stick with BigFish.

Just an FYI, there are a lot of glitches in this game. People who bought the game while it was in beta mode, could not get past the location in Africa. In Africa, there's a sliding puzzle in which you need to recreate the picture. The only problem is that the tiles that you need to swap do not appear, so all you get is a black space in the middle of the puzzle.


Since the game was released you can get past Africa but others get stuck in the Scythian Burial Grounds. In that location you need to match identical signs and the board appears blank as well.

Unfortunately even if the game worked for you with the trial time, it is no guarantee that you'll be able to complete the game.

I have to say shame on Alawar for their customer service. Many people have complained and written several e-mails without a response. They make really good games but their customer service department needs a makeover.

I am one of those people that have had really bad service from Alawar. I cannot download this game as I get an error stating corrupted download or some other message (I posted in glitches) but now I'm glad it's not working. I think, like others, I will wait for BF to get it. Alawar has not responded to me at all and I know it's the weekend, but I emailed them early Friday morning and you would of thought that I would of at least got something telling me they are working on it. I still think it may be my computer as others have had no download issues, but the other issues stated here are far more critical and if not fixed not worth buying the game. One question though, if BF does get this game, will the issues Margie talked about there still be an issue?

Barbara, I'm sure that BigFish will try and get a good copy, but as we know from the past, it is not always possible to tell until many download and try it on their individual systems. I would hope that BF is aware of the issues before they agree to host it on their site.

This is the 11th game I have bought from Alawar. I have had some problems in the past, but mainly with registering a game.I did get an e-mail from them saying they had received mine, so I guess I'll just have to wait. I also have lost money a couple of times before.--NOT funny!!!

I think they are based out of Russia, so it would have already been evening there for them if you emailed them Friday morning Pacific time.

Thanks Ana. I'm sure your correct. BF is the best and I know they would be sure not to publish a game that has issues, but even if they did, there customer service is #1 and that is the difference between them and everyone else. Mistakes happen and I think we all know that, it's how you fix them that makes you stand out from all of the rest.

Misa...thanks. Did not know they were in Russia. I am sure I will hear something eventually....it's just really disappointing.

Well I finally got the game downloaded. I had some kind of virus on my computer and I worked on it most of the day. It is now gone, my computer is now clean and I can now download. I knew it had to be my issue as everyone else had been able to download with no problems and I have never had an issue downloading from Alawar. Anyhow, I like the game...still won't buy it from Alwar will wait in hopes that BG gets it, but I do like it.

Does anyone know if BFish will get this game I played the demo and really liked it. I hope BFish gets it and Treasure Masters too. Trisha

BigFish gets most games except for any game made by RealArcade and their subsidiaries eg. GameHouse.

If you want them to get one specifically, please submit your request to BigFish. They do listen, but they won't know if no one writes them.
