I just finished Culpa Innata and really enjoyed it! What makes it surprising to me is the fact that I couldn't get into it AT ALL at first. In fact, I started it 3 or 4 times before I finally got interested.
I thought the game was really well done. The only thing that was pretty distracting to me was the pattern of talking. I don't know if the voice actors were trying to speak the words as they saw them scroll on a screen or what, but it was kind of distracting to hear them pause mid-sentence, particularly after the word "that" and then continue on.
But I loved that there was a diary to fall back on when I didn't know what to do next. I usually have problems with non-linear games, wandering endlessly trying to figure out what to do next. But with the diary, I got "hints" as to what to do next.

All in all, a long, involved and interesting story, very well done. thumbsup

I loved the game too, Mary. The dialogue-driven style of play really pulled me in. The puzzles were fun and original.

At what point did you start to enjoy the game?

Culpa kept me stuck to my computer chair for a whole week. laugh

Mary and Rushes ...It's nice to hear how much you enjoyed the game. I thought it was one of the best games I had ever played. It was one that I also couldn't get away from for too long a time. I was feeling that I was probably the only one that thought the game was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. yay

Rushes,
I don't remember exactly where or when I started to enjoy myself with the game. I think it was after I started to understand how to use the diary and navigation map to "steer" me in the right direction and after realizing that the conversations I had with people were EXTREMELY important.
My problem is/was that many times I don't have more than 30 minutes at a sitting to game play, which doesn't leave a whole lot of time to get REALLY involved, so a game has to "grab" me rather quickly.

I am hoping there is a sequel!

I really got into this game also and thought the plot was well done and continuously hinting of more to learn, more to come. I sure hope there is a sequel too.

The game was really nice and -finally- not short. A lot of people though did not like it at first but I believe that if you insist playing it and concentrate in its world, you will love it at last.

I agree with the A grade Ana, only thing I hope that changes in next game is more friends to talk too, and more clothes outfits to choose to wear. I really loved the game! Especially the facial expressions and lip sinc was perfect. bravo
