Thanks for the headsup! I was eyeing a few of the RealArcade/Gamehouse developed games the other day (Little Shop series and Mystery of the Crystal Portal). This is a great deal.

Any other must-haves I should check out that aren't available on BFG? I already have Mortimer Beckett & Cate West.

Thanks Susan. I was thinking more of Gamehouse/Real Arcade games that BFG will never get. I think Jewel Quest III will make it there eventually. Still have to get through the first two.

Well, I went and splurged also and bought Cate West and Crystal Portal. Not sure when I'll have to play them, but I'm happy I have them now.

I can relate. I thought I had this whole 4 day weekend to play, but apparently, I'm babysitting for a large part of it

I bought Mortimer Beckett and have been playing it since. I only stopped so I can A) get lunch and B) check Best Buy for an adventure game I'm waiting for.

Best Buy disappointed me by not having the game in yet but not a total loss the only Best Buy in Lincoln is just a couple blocks from te only Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers in the state of Nebraska.

Just purchased 'Amazing Adventures Around the World'...

I bought Monopoly (ok, kind of lame, I know) but I like the game. I started to play and about 10 minutes while playing, the game stopped and returned me to my desktop. Don't know why. I sent a message to Spintop and awaiting their reply. Not buying any more until I fix this one up.

Tammy, did you restart your computer and try it again?

Now I have joined those waiting for the Mortimer Beckett sequel.

Jenny, have you played the first one yet? The Gamezebo review says the second one is not too different from the first.

I liked the first one but found that I had to take a break from it occassionally. It's a pretty long game so it can get monotonous after a while. I'll buy the second one though when BFG gets it.

Misa - I re-installed the game and then rebooted. Played an entire game and it worked fine. Got the response from SpinTop to try the same thing. It said to click on the "Already Paid" button after re-installing, but didn't see that button. The game worked fine tho. Thanks for the info.

The screenshots for the second one looked more interesting -- more variety of location.


I've heard it was a long one, but that's not a bad thing as long as the game is fun.

I bought Mystery of the Crystal Portal. Great game. Does anyone order the back-up CD as well? I didn't, I was just curious.

I didn't order any backup CDs either.

My "to play" pile is so big now! I'm currently playing Little Shop of Treasures. Going to make my way through the series before I play Mystery of the Crystal Portal.

ETA: Oh gosh, I ended up just now buying Amazing Adventures Around the World and Mystery PI: The Vegas Heist as BFG doesn't have either yet (kind of odd since MPI: Vegas came out in April?) and I can't pass up a deal!

The website still says 50% off and to act now. Is there a coupon code or does it automatically apply 50%.

If I remember correctly, it applied the credit automatically during checkout.
