Hello Everyone,

This really sounds stupid, but I'm stumped in the asylum.
I have played this same section about 4 times now for the past two days. In Seward's office, opened the safe, got all articles there, listened to two recording, picked up the ring, went to see Hopkins, gave him the fly, took care of Bill and got his blood. Mixed it with the gun, went back to Hopkins, gave him the ring and got the glasses.

Now, according to the WT (checked it ten times) the phone is supposed to ring, but in my game, it doesn't???

Does anyone know what I may have missed?

Also - there is a cabinet in Bill's room that I can't open?

Thanks for any help,
Spankie mad

Hi spankie,

I haven't yet played this game, but I'm peeking at the walkthrough also. Make sure that you've fully read the green notebook and any other files picked up in this location.

Thanks Rushes,

I went back to the game and re-read the green and red books, but still no phone ringing?

I can't tell what it is that you might have missed, you seem to have covered everything from the walkthrough. Did you listen fully to the second recording - it gets stuck halfway so you have to click again on it? think

There are some saved games HERE that you might find useful to get you past this sticky spot.

Otherwise we'll need to wait for someone who has played the game and is familiar with this section. luck

It might be that you missed a dialogue with Hopkins.
Also I vaguely remember being outside the cell to hear the phone.

Hi Rushes,

Thank you so much. I checked the saved games and found one where he needs to answer the phone. Really appreciate your help.

Could not figure out what I missed even after reading the WT many times line by line.

Thanks,
Spankie bravo
